About Mr. D's Phys Ed
“It’s not whether you win or lose but how you play the game.” - Sir Donald Bradman
I am a Physical Education Teacher based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I believe that teaching Physical Education is a privilege and my job is to inspire not only the students but also the parents, teachers and the wider school community to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle. Students at my school actively participate in an innovative, vibrant, inclusive and quality Sport and Physical Education Program and from Foundation they understand that “it is not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game.” I am also an aspiring distance triathlete and like to think that I am a positive role model for all students by being living proof that “anything is possible.”
In addition to my role as the school’s Physical Education teacher, I am also a Regional Sport Coordinator where I have the opportunity to engage 300 schools in sporting events across the calendar year.
I have a passion for learning, sharing and connecting with my fellow phys ed teacher through many different channels and am always looking for new ways to “amplify my teaching.”
